Moth Killed in Carrot Disagreement

A two-month old grease moth has been killed in a disagreement over an unclaimed carrot during this year's harvest period on Weird Farm. Sources say a cow had claimed ownership of the small, orange root veg before a moth landed on it as the cow was sleeping. Sharon, a badger from Ireland, was visiting the farm when the incident occurred.

"It's a crying shame. The cow is gutted but my thoughts, prayers and sniffs are with the moth tonight. So much to live for and so little to die for."

It is believed there were another three unclaimed carrots within three metres of the one involved.

1st April 2013

On1st April 2013, a horse and a chicken were involved in a train accident on the railway line just outside Weird City station. The horse was left confused, bewildered and bruised as he managed to dive out the way as an oncoming train failed to slow down. The chicken is thought to have died at the scene. It is believed that the train, run by Virgin Trains, was hijacked by a Tesco employee and full of Findus board members after a tip-off from a jealous farmer about the horse's whereabouts.

28th August 2012

Weird Horse has returned. Baffled Farmer contacted the media at 8:30pm this Tuesday evening to confirm the story. Weird Horse has been missing since Tuesday 21st August after storming out during a heated exchange with the owner of Weird Farm, Mr B Farmer, 52. It is believed that Weird Horse boarded a trans-pennine train and found himself in the Greater Manchester region. Sightings were recorded in Manchester Arndale, The Printworks and outside Old Trafford Football Stadium, the home of Manchester United Football Club.
Pauline Pretzel from Altrincham said:

"I saw a horse at Cornbrook Metrolink Station. Both the horse and Oasis singer/songwriter Noel Gallagher were waiting for the tram. I got Noel's autograph but the blessed horse spat at me and got on a tram heading to Eccles. I was ever so confused."

It is believed that Baffled Farmer and Weird Horse have put their troubles behind them are about to start working on the Official 2013 Weird Horse Calendar and a book aimed at children and/or adults with learning difficulties. This will partner the current range of produce available on the Weird Horse website.

21st August 2012

Weird Horse has left Weird Farm this evening after what is believed to be a row with owner, Baffled Famer. Reports suggest that Weird Horse threw a slug at a cow and made several threats to surrounding poultry. There have been questions over Weird Horse's recent behaviour and it seems that Baffled Farmer has decided to take rather bold action. Although unconfirmed as Weird Horse, a horse was last spotted by the Weird City boating lake, sniffing a breeze block.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of Weird Horse, please contact the Weird City Police Department at weirdhorse@hotmail.co.uk.

Weird Horse has been forced to join LinkedIn by his owner Baffled Farmer. There are rumours circulating in agricultural circles that Weird Horse went on a temporary hunger strike, refusing to eat anything for seven hours until he saw a stray baked bean on the path and gave in. Baffled Farmer has singalled his intent to monetise and take advantage of his horse's abilites and sees the addition of LinkedIn as a valid 'next step'.

20th June 2012

Wow. What a ride it’s been. First of all I would like to offer my congratulations to my horse and wish him well for the future. He knows how proud I am of him and how much belief I have in his ability. I’m fortunate enough see his face every day and although he can’t speak, I do often read his tweets and chuckle.
I was lucky enough to see him write a tweet from start to finish once. I peeked out of my window to see him sniffing and prodding an iPad around the back of the stables. The process takes about 50 minutes; his grasp of the English language, although great for a horse and constantly improving is heavily flawed and he relies upon spell-checkers and auto-correct to finish the job for him. But what a horse. I feel privileged to call myself the owner of him and I'm forever grateful for his presence on my farm. Sure there are deaths caused directly because of his presence but it’s something I can live with.
So what next for my horse? Well, 100,000 followers is one hell of a milestone. But I don’t know, I really don’t know.

Regards,

Mr B Farmer
